My Opinion on my LipLicous Tasty Lip Color Collection

LipLicous Lip Gloss
(All three of these lip colors were either given or purchased by me!)

I am a lip gloss fanatic so over the years I have experimented and tryed new brands of lip gloss types. My overall favorite types of glosses are usually mint flavored ones but while at Bath&Body Works I saw a counter filled with different fruit inspired lip glosses. Over periods of time I have acquired these three lip glosses from the LipLicious Line and have loved them ever since.
Below I am going to rate the Glosses on color, smell and stay in my opinion:
1. Pink Grapefruit

Color: The color of this lip gloss is a newborn baby girl pink, with golden undertones and sparkles. On my lips and against my brown skin this lip gloss is the correct subtle pink which allows it to pop. I LOVE IT!

Smell: I am unaware of the smell of grapefruit but if it smells like this lip gloss I do not like it. The smell of this gloss could almost be considered unbearable it is sweet but there is something within the sweet smell that makes it nasty.

Stay: This lip gloss stays very well but the downside to that is that it is sticky and can be messy when smeared on places other than your lips. Due to the fact that the gloss contains sparkles it can be a nuisance to get that from around the rim of your mouth.

(This is my favorite Lip Gloss out of the three despite the smell)

2.Watermelon Sorbet

Color: The color of this Lip Gloss is very similar to the color of Mulberry which is a deeper color pink. I would call this lip gloss a light magenta pink with a lot of sparkle.
Smell: The smell of this lip gloss is unbelievable! It smells so good like (not to be cheesy) a hot summer day with the relief of a cold sorbet. Love this smell!
Stay: This lip gloss like the Pink Grapefruit is also sticky but a lot less messy. I have noticed that the LipLicious lip gloss are very pigmented yet sticky. Also if by any chance you get this lip gloss in your mouth the taste is sweet (awkward lol).

3. Fresh Mulberry
(What the heck is a Mulberry lol)

Color: This is the darker version of  the magenta pink with less sparkles. Very pigmented for a gloss.

Smell: I've  never smelled a Fresh Mulberry but the smell of this gloss is refreshing yet there is a hint of cherry cough syrup within it.

Stay: Sticky yet stays put and less messy than the other too.

Overall: Very pigmented for a gloss, sticky yet stays put. Smells very strong yet good (except for Pink Grapefruit).

All these lip glosses are $ 7.50

Fit Me Foundation review (#355)

This Product comes in a glass bottle with no pump which forces you to either pour out the product, dip your brush in the top of the bottle  (recommended) or dip your brush directly into the bottle.
This is the  Fit me Foundation in #355 by Maybelline New York with a SPF of 18. (This is the darkest shade in the Fit Me collection)
This is the Fit Me Foundation against my skin, my face has an orange undertone so the foundation turned out to be a perfect match!
My Skin Type: Combination: Dry around the mouth, Very Oily on my forehead and around my T-Zone.

My Opinion:

 Marketing Style:
Maybelline marketed a product that was potentially supposed to " Fit" people of every race and color that fit into the three categories of light, medium and deep/ dark. In my opinion Maybelline hyped up their product. If my skin color is considered the deepest or darkest than that isn't the full spectrum of colors which is marketed to the people. In the future I hope that the Fit Me Foundation adds on to their line more colors for darker women ( and men ;) ).

The Product:
When reading the reviews on this product I read that many women didn't believe that the product gave full coverage and that the fact that the style of bottle not having a pump, wasted a lot of the product. Fit Me Foundation is a light to medium coverage foundation, it was made to allow your skin to breath and look light and fresh. Although this Foundation can be built up to create a full coverage look it starts to look cakey after a certain point. The fact that the bottle does not have a pump is fusterating but if the bottle is turned over while the cap is on and then tapped lightly when the cap is removed you can dip your brush into the cap and get a reasonable amount of foundation on your brush which helps not waste product.
On me this foundation fits almost perfectly due to the fact that it and my skin both have an orange undertone, the con about this foundation is that it is very liquidy and can make your face VERY oily!
I continue to purchase this foundation because it is my exact skin color but because my skin is very oily I do often have to blot and retouch my makeup but for the coverage this foundation gives it is worth it!

Sometimes when I do not want to go throught the process of retouching my makeup I use the Fit Me Powder also in # 355 which gives light coverage but gives a nice look as well.

I am aware that this foundation has been out on shelves for a good amount of time but before you run out and buy this product, try to look and find the sample sheet with the different skin groups and find your exact color.
Price: $8-9 (foundation); $6.50-7.50 (concealer); $8-9 (powder)
Availability: Target, WalMart, Ulta, Drugstores
Size: 1 fl oz / 30 ml (foundation); 0.23 fl oz / 6.8 ml (concealer); 0.3 oz / 9 g (powder)

Love It but Hate it!

Pros: Beautiful color
Cons: Sticky
Best Uses: Special Occasions
I tried this gloss on thinking that it would be a gloss, smooth and pigmented. But while sliding the brush against my lips it was sticky and took "force" to get the product on my lips. But when on my lips the product was beautiful and sparkled. The properly pigmented pink against my medium, orange undertoned skin complexion made up for the labor put in. I LOVE IT although it wasnt perfect I went online to buy another one.
Although I am a teen I would not beable to walk out the house with that much sparkle on my lips every day there for I dont suggest this product to people of an older age who are looking for something for a every day wear but I do suggest if you are looking for something to complete a already bedazzled look because this gloss does shine.
Sadly I had to give this product only 3 stars
because it didnt feel lik a "pout perfector" nor a gloss and the application process was to much of a hassle.
But for only 3 dollars I would just say "TRY IT" you might find your new go to product!
